The 30th International Liquid Crystal Conference (ILCC 2026)

We have the pleasure to invite you to attend the 30th ILCC that will take place in Québec City from June 21st to June 26th, 2026.

The Québec City Convention Centre is located in a prime area surrounded by world‐class hotels and tourist attractions, including the historic district of Old Québec.

Québec City is the only fortified city in North America and the oldest city on the continent north of the Mexican border. Founded in 1608, the city is famous for its European character and magnificent landscapes, which make it a highly valued and internationally recognized tourist destination. Québec City also proudly appears on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.

The local, program and advisory committees are working to prepare an exciting and outstanding conference. 

Five plenary speakers have confirmed their presence:

  • Jan Lagerwall, professor in physics at University of Luxembourg (Biography)
  • Rae Robertson-Anderson, professor of Physics and Biophysics at the University of San Diego (Biography)
  • Ivan I. Smalyukh, professor at the Department of Physics, University of Colorado at Boulder (Biography)
  • Dong Ki Yoon, professor in the Department of Chemistry at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST)(Biography)
