Hoi Sing Kwok

Biographie:
Professor Kwok received his BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University in 1973, and MS and PhD degrees in Applied Physics from Harvard University in 1974 and 1978 respectively. From 1978 to 1980, he worked at the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory. From 1980 to 1992, he was with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, State University of New York at Buffalo, where he became a Full Professor since 1985. He joined HKUST in 1992. 

Professor Kwok is a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors, a Fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering, Asia Pacific Academy of Materials, IEEE, Optical Society of America and Society for Information Display. He was given the Slotto-Owaki Award and the Rajchman Prize from SID in 2013 and 2019 respectively.
