Ke-Qing Zhao
Biographie:
Dr. Ke-Qing Zhao is a Professor of Organic Chemistry at Sichuan Normal University, China. He received his Ph.D. in 1997 from Sichuan University under the supervision of Professor Liang-Fu Zhang. He then pursued postdoctoral research abroad, first at TU Darmstadt, Germany (2001–2002) with the late Professor Wolfgang Haase, and subsequently at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Japan (2002–2003) in collaboration with Dr. Yo Shimizu. More recently, in 2019, he was a visiting scholar at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in California, USA, working alongside Dr. Chenhui Zhu. Dr. Zhao’s research focuses on the molecular design, synthesis, and physical property investigation of discotic liquid crystals. He maintains active collaborations with Dr. Bertrand Donnio (Strasbourg, France) and Dr. Hirosato Monobe (AIST, Japan).
